Ann Demyanovich

Ann "Demie" Demyanovich, 85, of Second Street Coaldale, died Friday, April 12, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital Bethlehem.

A member of St. John The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church of Lansford, Demie, was a 1945 Coaldale High School graduate.

Working in New York City, as a "Nanny to the Stars", Demie raised small babies until they were ready for a training nurse.

Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter, the late George and Mary (Gulick) Demyanovich.

She is survived by her brother, Edward Dem-yanovich and his wife, Barbara of Bethlehem; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mrs. Mary Dankovich, Mrs. Irene Kellner, and Mrs. Helen Wagner; and brothers, George, Nick, and Emil Demyanovich.

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.

Services: A Panachida service will be celebrated Monday April 15, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home, with the Rev. Vasyl Chepelskyy officiating. Parastas services Sunday evening from the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Friends may call Sunday evening April 14, 2013, at the E. Franklin Griffiths F.H., Inc. from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and on Monday morning April 15, 2013 from 9 a.m. until time of services.

Interment will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery
